Sunday Morning Worship

Our worship service mixes contemporary music with hymns, special music of other musical styles, scripture reading, sermon and prayers of the people.

We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of the month.  Baptisms and special congregational observances take place during worship, when called for.

Links to recordings of worship services or sermons are kept for the current calendar year.

Inclusion and Accommodations

We are called by God to be an inclusive community and we welcome all people.  CCPC’s buildings are accessible to those using wheelchairs, assistive listening devices are available on the cart immediately inside the Sanctuary doors, and a large screen displays text to be read, spoken, or sung by the congregation.

Children are an important part of our worship community, encouraged to attend church with their families.

Our "Joyful Noise" room is available at the rear of the Sanctuary.  Families can attend to the needs of their children while being able to see and hear the worship service.  Baby changing stations are located in the Joyful Noise Room, the Cradle Roll classroom, and the women's rest room near Dodds Hall.

Communion

Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month, and throughout the year to mark the special seasons and days of the Christian calendar. Gluten free wafers are provided in each Communion plate.

In the Presbyterian Church the Sacrament of Communion is open to all who claim Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. You do not need to be a member of CCPC, nor a Presbyterian, to participate.  Parents are encouraged to include their baptized children when they are ready.
